## Questions merchants ask

### Where does the job board actually live?

On your storefront, under your own domain, served through Shopify's app proxy at /apps/workify. You add it with the Workify Job List theme block, or by pasting an embed snippet into any page — there is no separate careers site to maintain and no theme code to edit.

### Do candidates need a Shopify account to apply?

No. Anyone can apply from the public job page. If they want the candidate portal — saved jobs, application tracking, a looking-for-work post — they sign in with a one-time code sent to their email address. No Shopify or customer account is involved.

### Will my roles show up in Google for Jobs?

Every public job page ships schema.org JobPosting structured data, including employment type, location and structured salary when you set one. Whether a role is indexed and shown is Google's decision, not something any app can promise.

### Can other companies post jobs on my board?

On the Business plan, yes. Outside companies register through the employer portal, submit roles that land in pending approval, and review their own applicants once you publish. Nothing goes live on your board without you approving it.

### Can I change the application questions?

Yes. The applicant, membership and job-submission forms are all built by drag and drop, from eleven field types, with rules that reveal a question only when an earlier answer calls for it. A handful of system fields — name, email — cannot be deleted, because the pipeline is built on them.

### Is there a free plan?

No. Plans start at $4.99 a month for Basic, and the App Store listing carries a short free trial. Because billing runs through Shopify, the charge appears on your normal Shopify invoice and you can cancel from the admin.
